Monitor calibration check (display gamma=2.2): 5% pixel value swatches; at least 3rd darkest swatch should be different from black. All light swatches at the right end of the bar should be, barely but distictly, discernable. Monitor Calibration Check (Gamma=2.2): lower and upper 20% of tones (pixels from 0 to 49 and from 206 to 255) Monitor Calibration Check (Gamma=2.2 - LCD only): checkerboards and solid colour patches should look the same. Monitor Check (Gama=2.2 - LCD Only): the bar should be gray with no colour tints.
